  1. 4178: Change vdb suffix for archives

vdb is the default suffix for Valentina. Change to something unique for Mail Archiver.

".vdb"-Dateien sollten nicht generell auf 'Mail-Archiv' umgestellt werden. Wer selbst mit Valentina arbeitet, ist da nicht besonders glücklich. Das lässt sich in Valentina konfigurieren.
Alternativ: Welche Folgen hat es, wenn ich auf Valentina-Studio zurück ändere?

  2. 4173: Place Attachments In Folder with same name as PDF

When saving an archive as PDF, there seem to be two options:
    1. Place each email (with attachments) in its own folder
    2. Only place Attachments in one folder.

The first option keeps attachments with their respective emails, but requires a massive amount of folders.

The second option dumps all the attachments in one folder and its not easy to see what attachment goes to which email.

Can we have a middle option of placing the attachment in a folder named after the email, so they stay together?

    For example:

PDF: 2005-12-01 16-31-34 Try This One
    Attachment Folder: 2005-12-01 16-31-34…

  3. 4172: Update path for PDF when user changes mailbox

In feature 2697 the mailbox should be updated when the user changes the mailbox and archives again. User Greg wants to have a similar feature for PDF. The path to the PDF files would need to be updated.

  6. 3886: Different mailbox order

    From user Mattia:

I find the current view in the sidebar to be quite confusing. It currently looks like this:

    INBOX
    ├── ADDRESS1@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── ADDRESS2@DOMAIN.COM
    └── ADDRESS3@DOMAIN.COM
    SENT MESSAGES
    ├── ADDRESS1@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── ADDRESS2@DOMAIN.COM
    └── ADDRESS3@DOMAIN.COM
    ADDRESS1@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── Dir1
    ├── Dir2
    └── Dir3
    ADDRESS2@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── Dir1
    ├── Dir2
    └── Dir3
    ADDRESS3@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── Dir1
    ├── Dir2
    └── Dir3

That becomes quickly confusing when different accounts are archived in the program.

I would find it much better if the structure was more along the lines of:

    ADDRESS1@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── Inbox
    ├── Sent
    ├── Dir1
    ├── Dir2
    └── Dir3
    ADDRESS2@DOMAIN.COM
    ├── Inbox
    ├── Sent
    ├──…

  16. 3875: Pause after "Fetch rate limit hit"

User Michael get an error message "Fetch rate limit hit" after archiving about 1000 mails. He wants the app to pause and archive again:
    (1) pause for _ minutes after archiving messages, before resuming the archive process.
    or an option to
    (2) pause for ___ minutes during archiving if Mail Archiver X encounters "Fetch rate limit hit", then resume archiving again.

In my experience it seems like pausing after hitting the rate-limit doesn't matter. What matters is disconnecting from the IMAP server, reconnecting and re-authenticating, then resuming the archive process where you left off.
